Statement of Faith

I Believe in one God, whose essential nature is love, and who exists eternally in three persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

I Believe that God is most perfectly revealed in His only Son, Jesus Christ, who was born of the virgin Mary, lived as a man among men and who died on a Roman Cross, but was raised from the dead by the power of God.

I Believe that the Bible is the literal Word of God, verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit.

I Believe that all humanity was created in the image of God, in order to have fellowship with God, but were born in sin, and are under the judgment which God has placed upon sin, which is eternal death, or separation from God.

I Believe that forgiveness for sin and eternal life are made possible by the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and are offered to a sinful humanity as a free gift of God's grace.

I Believe that persons who repent of their sins and receive Jesus Christ as their Savior receive forgiveness for their sins and are given eternal life as a free gift from God.

I Believe that God makes the Holy Spirit available to all who will receive Him as the One who helps them overcome sin and enables them to live a life pleasing to God. We call this the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

I Believe that God created the church to provide fellowship for His people on earth, and to enable His people to grow in their faith, and to equip them for effective service for Him while on earth.

I Believe that God empowers the Church through the Holy Spirit to supernaturally minister healing and restoration to persons in jesus' name, setting them free from the effects and bondage of sin.

I Believe that Jesus Christ will come again and resurrect those who have died in Him. They, along with His children remaining alive at His coming, will establish His Kingdom here on earth.

I Believe that those who have not received Jesus Christ wile alive on earth will spend their eternity separated from god in a place the Bible calls Hell.

I Believe that God has given the church the responsibility of proclaiming the good news of Salvation for all persons in Jesus Christ to all persons in the local and world communities.
